Word Press sponsors the Word Press First Book Prize, open to poets who have not published a full-length collection of poetry. The winner receives $500 and 25 copies of their book, while selected runners-up will receive five copies of their books. The contest has a $20.00 reading fee (add $7.50 for copy of winning book). Poets should submit a full-length manuscript (minimum 48 pages) with e-mail address for notification to Word Press First Book Prize, P.O. Box 541106, Cincinnati, OH 45254-1106. The annual deadline is July 1.
